Seeds of Hope in Bloom: Affirming Ministry in Grande Prairie
The First of its Kind
In 2020, St. Paul’s United Church in Grande Prairie, AB began its journey to become the first Affirming ministry north of Edmonton.
The United Church of Canada Foundation was thrilled to provide support through a Seeds of Hope grant, helping their community of faith convene learning events, in collaboration with local 2SLGBTQIA+ groups and Indigenous communities.
“Journey to Affirming: Come Learn with Us” has been transformative.
We’ve been very excited to share this brand-new video, the story of their Journey to Affirming, and could think of no better day to debut it than PIE Day!
