The United Church of Canada Foundation offers a wide variety of different grant opportunities for United Church of Canada organizations and individuals to bring life to the mission and values of the United Church. These grants are a part of the stewardship of our trusts and endowments, made possible by the generosity of donors to the Foundation and the United Church of Canada.

Seeds of Hope Grant Program

Seeds of Hope is the primary granting program of the United Church of Canada Foundation, supporting initiatives that enable us to live out the New Creed’s call to “seek justice”, “live with respect in creation” and “love and serve others”.

Academic opportunities related to the church, including study, research, bursaries, scholarships, and fellowships.

**Please note that Embracing the Spirit and New Ministries grants will not be available in 2023 as these programs have been put on hold as we embrace the exciting transition into the United Church of Canada’s new strategic plan
